We had to replace the main feed water line to this home in Redding, Ca 96003 because it had 60+ year old galvanized pipes that had major leaks and was rusting through. We had added a main shut off and regulator inside a box right after the meter. We then connected 3/4” “PEX tubing” to our new main shut off instead of hard pipe or PVC due it’s reliability. We trenched a line to the house after removing a tree and some shrubbery; breaking a PVC irrigation line in the process, and connected to the house supply with a 40'+ run. We tested the line, flushed it of debris, adjusted the pressure properly, and started the clean up. The customer was very happy and thanked us with some cookies.
